    How to prepare guacamole

    • After having washed them very well, cut the tomato and onion into very small pieces. Try to cut them as small as you can. Then, proceed to do the same with the cilantro.
    • Then pour these pieces into the container where you will be preparing the guacamole. If you have one available, use a stone mortar.
    • Next, make sure the avocados are ripe enough, then cut them in half and remove the pit.
    • Then use a spoon to remove all the meat from them and pour them into the container that contains our chopped vegetables.
    • Next, add the lemon juice, a pinch of salt and the serrano or jalapeño pepper to give our guacamole a slightly spicy flavor.
    • Using a utensil or mortar, crush all the ingredients to mix them all evenly.

You should leave whole small pieces of avocado, which is how it is traditionally served. However, if you like it creamier and with a more uniform texture, you can beat it with the mixer.

If you don’t finish the whole bowl of guacamole, you can store it in the refrigerator in an airtight container, vacuum sealed for a maximum couple of days.
